The Junior Squad Structure
A group of volunteers known as the Junior Squad Committee working under instruction from the Director of Coaching as responsible for the day to day running of the Junior Squad program. The Bendigo Basketball Association Board is the controlling body of the squad program and as such relies on the Junior Squad Committee to ensure that the program is running efficiently. At least one member of the Bendigo Basketball Association Board is assigned as a Junior Squad Delegate and it is their responsibility to bring to the attention of the board any matters they feel require attention
Under 12 Objectives
- To give each player ample opportunity to enjoy basketball and develop their team and individual skills.
- To involve as players as possible in the Under 12 Junior Squad program.
- To prepare a team for the Future Stars Tournament.
- To prepare a team for the Classic Tournament.
U14 Objectives
- To prepare team for the Gold Star Classic.
- To qualify for the National Championships.
- To qualify for Victorian Junior Championship League. (VJBL)
- To prepare the team for the Classic Tournament.
Under 16/18 Objectives
- To prepare a team for the Country Championships.
- To Qualify for Victorian Junior Championship League. (VJBL)
- To prepare a team for the Classic Tournament.
- To prepare players for the State team selections.
